2024 Projects

The ASI Missions Inc. Board selected 41 projects to receive grants from the offering gathered at the 2024 ASI International Convention. The offering goal is $1,600,000. Online donations are accepted toward this year’s offering and previous years’ pledges. Each project will receive the designated amount. Combined, the projects represent a significant worldwide impact. In the unlikely event that any of the listed projects do not progress within a reasonable time, as determined by ASI, at its discretion, ASI may redirect the funds from the failed project to another ASI-approved project. Below are the organizations to receive funding along with the planned use of project funds.

This year’s ASI Offering overflow contributions will be used to fund three very important projects:

  3. One-day Church – Roofs Over Africa

1. Adelante Community Health Center

$20,000

To help launch a public service radio station in English and Spanish in the Chicago Area (using AWR Programming)Adelante Community Health Center, located in Illinois, is a non-profit organization dedicated to community health education. They offer a range of services including nutritional advice, plant-based cooking demonstrations, fitness classes, stress management workshops, and personal counseling. This project aims to launch a public service radio station to expand their outreach and education efforts, promoting health and wellness to a broader audience.

2. ASAP Ministries

To help support several schools on the Myanmar border for refugees displaced by Civil warASAP Ministries focuses on empowering local missionaries and supporting underserved communities in Southeast Asia. This project will provide critical support to schools on the Myanmar border, ensuring that children in these marginalized areas have access to education and humanitarian aid, fostering both academic and spiritual growth.

3. Build and Restore International

$20,000

To build a two‐story multi‐use church building in PeruBuild and Restore International is committed to constructing and renovating buildings that serve community needs. This project involves the construction of a two-story, multi-use church building that will provide a place of worship and community activities, enhancing the spiritual and social life of the local population.

4. Ellen G. White Estate, Inc.

$100,000

To help share EGW in many languages and expand the EGW website and translation of EGW BooksThe Ellen G. White Estate Inc. is dedicated to preserving and promoting the writings of Ellen G. White, a co-founder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This project aims to translate and distribute her writings in multiple languages, making her spiritual insights and guidance accessible to a global audience.

5. Familia Feliz

To help build a one‐story school with eight classrooms in BoliviaFamilia Feliz is a mission project located in Bolivia that provides a home and education for abandoned and orphaned children. This project will support the construction of a new school building, allowing for better educational facilities and opportunities for the children in their care.

6. FARM STEW International

To train agricultural/health missionaries in South SudanFARM STEW International is dedicated to promoting health and wellness through agricultural training and health education. This project will train agricultural and health missionaries in South Sudan, equipping them with the skills to improve community health and self-sufficiency.

7. From Hearts 2 Hands

$15,000

To help build a library in Tanzania in an impoverished areaFrom Hearts 2 Hands is committed to improving educational opportunities in impoverished regions. This project will help build a library in Tanzania, providing a much-needed resource for children and adults to enhance their learning and literacy skills.

8. Fundacion Sonrisas de Jesus

$20,000

To rent a clinic and start a medical missionary school in VenezuelaFundacion Sonrisas de Jesus focuses on providing healthcare and education to underserved communities. This project will establish a medical missionary school in Venezuela, training local individuals to provide essential medical services and improve community health.

9. Gems of Truth

To furnish and equip a small recording studio for online evangelismGems of Truth is dedicated to spreading the gospel through digital media. This project will fund the setup of a recording studio, enabling the production of high-quality online evangelistic content to reach a broader audience.

10. Generation. Youth. Christ. (GYC)

To fund the evangelism outreach for the December 2024 GYC convention in Columbus, OhioGeneration. Youth. Christ. (GYC) is a youth-led organization focused on inspiring and equipping young people for evangelism. This project will support the evangelistic outreach efforts during their annual convention, empowering youth to actively share their faith.

11. Granheim Foundation

To provide for their students’ missionary internships in 2025The Granheim Foundation supports the development of future missionaries. This project will fund internships for students, providing them with hands-on experience in missionary work and preparing them for long-term service.

12. Hartland Institute of Health and Education

This project will expand their lifestyle and hydro-therapy facilities, enhancing their ability to offer holistic health programs.

13. Hearts for Missions International

This project will support cardiac and medical-surgical missions in Africa, offering life-saving treatments and training local healthcare providers.

14. Herghelia Health and Preventive Medicine Center Romania

This project will fund the construction of a new wing, expanding their capacity to offer health programs and services to the community.

15. ISEI Education Association

16. Kibidula Mission

17. Lay Institute for Global Health Training

19. Lineage Journey

20. Living Springs Retreat

This project will fund the construction of two staff homes and the renovation of their lifestyle center, improving their ability to serve guests and staff.

21. Loma Linda Campestre

23. NAPS (The Nat’l Assoc for the Prevention of Starvation)

25. Omega-Sante Madagascar

27. Outpost Centers International — Education Assistance Plan
