Helping Students Learn, Lead, and Live for Christ:
ASI funding helps ISEI support small schools and expand their education platform

For small, often overlooked schools, especially those in economically challenged regions, access to educational support can be out of reach. But thanks to funding from ASI, the ISEI Education Association, whose tagline is “Intersecting Scripture, Educators, and Inspiration,” made significant strides in 2024, ensuring more schools and students benefit from structured, Christ-centered academic support.

With $12,000 of the $18,000 ASI funding, ISEI was able to offer membership subsidies to small schools, specifically those with fewer than 25 students or those located in countries with lower GDPs than the United States. These subsidies opened the door for 11 of 16 eligible schools to receive full membership benefits, including academic consultation, professional development, and access to a growing community of Adventist educators.

Another $4,000 was used to develop a web-based annual reporting platform, now fully operational. This system allows schools to submit reports digitally, making accountability, record-keeping, and program development more efficient and accessible, even for schools in remote or under-resourced areas.

In addition, phase one of an accreditation platform is underway, laying the groundwork for a more consistent and mission-aligned process to support quality assurance across ISEI-member schools.

The final $2,000 supported administrative travel and student participation in key events such as the annual Bible Conference, a service-learning trip to Historic Adventist Village, and a music festival. These gatherings help facilitate spiritual growth, build student leadership, and cultivate connections between schools.

The support of ASI through its members has directly enabled schools to join a network that is committed to faithful, high-quality Seventh-day Adventist education.

“With ASI’s help, we’re building systems that serve not just schools, but the kingdom,” said ISEI’s executive director, Wanda Sarr, “We’re training up students who know the Scriptures, who serve their communities, and who are prepared to lead.”
